Another look at my gauges in this case it’s right at the beginning of the climb and you could see on the left. It says 17 miles and 5400 feet to the top from where I was located at that time and on the right is all my performance numbers at that moment

The summit!! A fog bank..

At the top! Having a ball!!👍🚲💪

Today is likely to be one of the biggest highlights of the trip… We had a massive 20 mile climb of 6000 feet up to Bighorn Pass in Wyoming. Light rain and clouds were rolling in all morning which made for amazing clouds, texture, and views, along with a wet summit and portion of the descent. And we saw a Moose!

Cheers

Way to go Doug. The Doug that started this cycling journey in Portland, Oregon will not be the same Doug that arrives in Portland, Maine, what an epic adventure, the scenery, the air, the terrain, the cities, the towns, you are getting a slice of America, the planet that few humans experience. I am excited to catch up with you and hear all about it after! 💚

Jenn

Truly an amazing day all the way around! Forever Young!

Doug…that was just exhilarating to watch, see and feel you on this huge climb! I mean you’re down to 13 miles, have already climbed thousands of feet and still narrating, taking gorgeous photos and well, still positively positive! This is the most amazing and physical as well as mental journey. I’m wondering how you and all adapt to the altitude while continuing to exert on the climb. Blows me away. I’m in awe of you and your determination and constant positivity. You are a machine! Love you!

Vince
